late harvest 2024

Late-harvest rosé wine produced from traditional red grape varieties of the Douro region. The harvest took place in the second week of November, with the grapes already having undergone a period of dehydration, resulting in higher sugar concentration, greater aromatic complexity, and the presence of the fungus Botrytis cinerea, the noble rot.
Its aromatic complexity is expressed through remarkable freshness and a gentle sweetness, both balanced by the Botrytis cinerea.
With an orange-rosé color, it presents a fruity aroma with floral and tropical notes, highlighting guava.
On the palate, it is very fresh, perfectly balancing acidity and sweetness.
Perfect to accompany aged cheeses and desserts, as well as more gastronomic and less obvious pairings, such as salmon or tuna dishes.
